👮 SSC GD 2025 Physical Test Details – Height, Running & Medical Criteria

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the SSC GD (General Duty) Constable Exam every year for recruitment in various central armed forces like BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, and others. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) are crucial stages after the written exam.

Below are the complete SSC GD 2025 physical test details including height, running, and medical requirements.

📏 Physical Standards (PST) 2025

Height Requirements:

  • Male (General/OBC/SC): 170 cm

  • Male (ST): 162.5 cm

  • Female (General/OBC/SC): 157 cm

  • Female (ST): 150 cm

Chest (Only for Males):

  • Unexpanded: 80 cm

  • Minimum Expansion: 5 cm

Weight:

  • Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

🏃‍♂️ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 2025

Candidates who clear PST have to undergo the PET:

Running Test (Race):

  • Male: 5 km in 24 minutes

  • Female: 1.6 km in 8.5 minutes

(For Ladakh Region candidates:)

  • Male: 1.6 km in 6.5 minutes

  • Female: 800 meters in 4 minutes

⚕️ Medical Examination Criteria

Candidates who clear PET & PST will be called for medical tests:

  • Eyesight:

    • Distant Vision: 6/6 and 6/9 without glasses.

    • Near Vision: N6/N9 in both eyes.

  • Other Checks:

    • Free from knock knees, flat foot, varicose veins, or squint eyes.

    • Good mental and physical health.

    • No chronic diseases or major surgeries.

  • Physical tests are qualifying in nature.
